Tomorrow

by Leila S. Goldberger

Tomorrow,

I will realize
that I have lifted a house
instead of a
small car.

Tomorrow,

I will see
that I have scars
on my arms and face
from supporting the weight of it.

Tomorrow,

I will know
that no matter how hard I try
or will it to be
I no longer
have
the strength.

Tomorrow,

I will acknowledge
my fatigue
my anger
my disappointment

because

Tomorrow

when the light comes

I will
feel better.The End
