Canadian erotica, as a body of literature, is expanding and developing, albeit at the pace of a lingering romantic dinner. A growing number of writers are contributing to the genre, helping to shape a valid body of provocative writing in its early years. In this issue’s feature, Lorie Boucher looks at recent lusty attempts to develop this genre in print, spoken word events, and writing workshops. In this quarter’s essay, former marine biologist Anton Holland examines the importance of science writing.
